Open the transcript that should provide context. Avoid asking broad account-level questions when you only need one record.

Private names are safe before screenshots or demos.

Ask for one job at a time

Ask for decisions, risks, quotes, or next actions separately so the answer is easier to verify.

The question names the output shape.

The answer can be checked against the transcript.

Move the answer into a workflow

A useful answer should become a review note, content draft, template improvement, or task list. On record and favorite detail pages, use AI Chat for follow-up questions and Create Content when the current source is ready to become a draft.

Access and credit requirements

Free accounts can use basic AI search and consume credits based on actual usage. Research, Labs, explicit model selection, and Records context require an active subscription or paid top-up credits.

Use basic search when you do not need a paid advanced mode or private Records context.
If an advanced option is unavailable, check the current subscription and whether the account has paid top-up credits.
Credit limits can change; use the current Usage and Credits screens instead of relying on a fixed number in this guide.

Good questions to ask

AI Chat is most useful when the question points to a specific record, source, or review goal.

Ask what decisions were made in this record.
Ask what follow-up tasks are implied.
Ask for a summary that keeps names, dates, and open questions visible.

AI Chat vs Create Content

Record detail can support two different next steps. Ask AI Chat when you still need understanding. Use Create Content when the source is strong enough to become a draft.

AI Chat: decisions, risks, missing context, quotes, and follow-up questions.
Create Content: article outline, social post, memo, release note, or reusable draft.
Content Studio: schedule topics, images, generated items, and review state.
